"Imagination"By: Robert William Service
Analysis
Tone/Mood: Mysterious and Magical
Poetic Devices:
Rhyme- "stone and alone" and "crawl and tall"
"wing and king"
consonance- "Mid mosque and minaret"
Rhythm-Makes the poem easier to read, has a good rhyme scheme.
Summary- in this poem imagination is conceived as magical renaissance world where anything can happen. Its almost like the author is describing his own imagination. Like in the last stanza where he repeatedly uses the word I. so we know he most be talking about his own imagination
